CARA GABRIEL

"Hi to anyone reading this: I am Cara Gabriel's mother. Cara had the honor of being chosen as the 2024 Rising Star Scholarship Recipient. Cara was only 7 years old when she recieved this scholarship and she was just starting out on her acting journey. Being able to study at Nova Arts Studio was a game changer but more important it brought so much clarity and confidence in Cara's talent. Because of this scholarship, from Cisneros Real Estate and Cisneros Insurance Group, Cara was given a chance to customize her learning experience. Between privates, workshops, consultations and group classes Cara and I was able to learn a lot. But more importantly we applied it! By the end of 2024 Cara was consistantly seeing auditions. Now in 2025 I cannot believe the people she has worked with and has seen her work. Cara has worked on many Texas Lifestyle shoots and Commercials. It has been a gradual improvement in quality of auditions. She has built a reputation of quality self-tapes that Casting Directors feel confident pitching Cara to Directors and Producers. We are finding out people know her from her consistency in self-tapes. Cara has worked with Warner Bros. production, Academy Sports and Outdoors, Dole, American Red Cross, San Antonio Zoo, and more. Cara's biggest credit this year was working with Quinata Brunson and Tyler Williams as a Co-Star on Abbott Elementary. Cara, as she states, "was treated like a queen!" She was able to work on the Warner Bros. backlots and sat in a room with just Quinta and Tyler to work on the scene together. Cara was asked back to the WB blacklots to a chemistry read for a short-film shortly after. Now Cara is in the final stages of audutions for a feature film with a well known Director in Hollywood. I can't believe now at 8 years old she is having conversations with some of the industries' well known names. Cara has also benefited from her peers at Nova Arts Acting Studio. This scholarship has helped Cara achieve another level acting I dont think we would have found all within a year! We believe the best for the 2025 recipient and all future recipients.
